Dear friends,
The successful organization of the Aristotle Medical Forum 2022 promulgated what has become a tradition of dynamic collaboration between the Aristotle University School of Medicine (AUSoM) and the Academic leaders of the Diaspora from various prestigious academic institutions from all around the world, with the aim of establishing the University and the School of Medicine as a guiding force in the effort for national development.
Encouraged by the great enthusiasm that we encountered from both our international Faculty, members of the HDMF form Europe and the US, as well as from our students and faculty at the Aristotle University School of Medicine (AUSoM), we would like to invite you to the AMF 2023, together with the 2nd International Conference of Hellenic Medical Diaspora. This will take place October 6-8, 2023 in Thessaloniki at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall Building by the sea and it will once again represent a common meeting ground of Medical Science and Innovation with Technology, Society and Industry.
The main theme this year is “The Odyssey: from classic to digital” with the goal being to showcase the amazing journey from the teachings, science and philosophy of Ancient Greece to the digital transformation that we are witnessing today. It will once again represent a common meeting ground of Medical Science and Innovation with Technology, Society and Industry. Fields that will be explored and issues that will be discussed include Socioeconomic and Ethical factors in current and future Global Health issues, the role of biotechnology in modern medicine and research, bioinformatics and Innovation in Medicine. The speakers and discussants will be top researchers and distinguished scientists from all around the world, including Nobel laureates, representatives of the state, top executives from national and international pharmaceutical and biomedical companies, as well as representatives of social institutions and organizations.
Our overall goal of establishing Thessaloniki the Global center of Greek diaspora and a beacon for Greeks from all around the world, remains a priority.
I would like to personally invite you to contribute to this cause with your active participation, which will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals. We aim for the Aristotle Medical Forum to continue as the leading scientific and medical event every year, having a direct effect on the on the formulation of Public Health policy in our country.
