The General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad & Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, are hosting an unprecedented medical congress with the participation of prominent Greek doctors from all over the world (15-17/7/2022). The congress will comprise of the Aristotle Medical Forum 2022 and the 1st International Conference of the Hellenic Medical Diaspora. The strategic target is to bring together Greek doctors from all around the world and to lay the groundwork for innovative initiatives and interdisciplinary synergies. Moreover, the congress will highlight the exceptionally high level and the expertise of the Greek doctors abroad, as well as in Greece.

AMF is held on an annual basis in Thessaloniki, increasing the visibility of the metropolis of Northern Greece. In 2022 the AMF will be joined by the first ever Global Diaspora Medical Forum to be held simultaneously, under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The AMF heralds an annual tradition promoting the active development of an academically open-minded Medical School of the future. The aim is for AMF to become a leading scientific and medical event, having a direct effect on the formulation of Public Health policy in Greece.
