AMF is held on an annual basis in Thessaloniki, increasing the visibility of the metropolis of Northern Greece.

In 2023 the AMF will be held, under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • Represents a common meeting ground of Medical Science and Innovation with Technology, Society and the Industry
  • Geared towards the captains of academia and industry, while simultaneously aiming to benefit society with the goal of highlighting innovative achievements of Medicine and Biomedical Technology.
  • Interaction with the faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Medicine ensures the high scientific status and best possible application of the conclusions and results towards greater societal benefit.
  • Top researchers and leading academicians are invited from all around the world together with institutional representatives of the state, policy makers and leaders of national and international pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
  • The AMF heralds an annual tradition promoting the active development of an academically open-minded Medical School of the future. The aim is for AMF to become a leading scientific and medical event, having a direct effect on the formulation of Public Health policy in Greece.
